Sgyrsiau: Conversations
On this page, I’m recording some of the points/ideas I’ve taken from the conversations… All anonymised. The conversations are based on three broad questions - what’s your relationship with Dyffryn Peris? What changes have you noticed here? What do you think the future holds/what would you like to see/do in the future here?
Please me know if you would be willing to take part (Cymraeg / English). Prior to COVID-19, I was doing up to conversations per week. Some at people’s houses (and some in mine), some in the pub, in Caban, walking, in a bus stop…. For now, I’m continuing the conversations during the Coronavirus epidemic in different ways - some on skype, some on socially distanced walks…whatever you feel comfortable with.
Total conversations so far from which the notes below have been taken: 42 (21 bilingual, 10 English speaking/basic Welsh learners, 7 fluent Welsh learners, 4 English speakers who understand Welsh fluently, 4 English speakers with no/limited Welsh). Plus various more informal conversations (in the pub etc)… and some with non-humans (so far a tree, moss and a blackbird!).
